ASSISTANT TEACHER/FA - OMAK (Head Start)
To assist the teacher and cooperate in a supportive role carrying out developmentally appropriate activities. Also promotes the health, nutrition and education of the children and to attend to their safety and welfare. A Family Advocate promotes family wellness and parent involvement programs and to support the implementation of the family partnership process
Required Education and Experience:
Current CDA Associate (CDA) credential (or a state-awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements)or;
Be enrolled in a CDA credential program with a professional development plan to obtain a CDA that will be completed within 2 years of hire or;
Be enrolled in a program that will lead to an AA or BA in Early Child Development.
1 year experience in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education preferred.
Work experience and knowledge in curriculums and early childhood development.

Position is full time at 47 weeks per year. Salary is $11.94 to $15.59 per hour depending on education and experience.
