Family Child Educator–Methow Valley(Early Head Start)
Are you someone who enjoys making a difference with young children and their families? Are you flexible and detail oriented? OCCDA is excited to announce their opening in the Methow Valley for a Family Child Educator.
About the position:
This is a full-time position that travels to the homes of the families in our Early Head Start program to provide services. These services include visits with the child's parents(primarily in the child's home), and group socialization (playgroup) opportunities in a classroom, community facility, or on field trips. The Family Child Educator will focus on parent-child interactions to promote positive parenting behaviors, provide research-based information around developmental topics, and focus on family well-being to promote healthy family functioning.

Position is full time at 48 weeks per year, not to exceed 1680 hours per year. Starting salary is $13.92 to $15.45per hour depending on education.
