FAMILY CHILD EDUCATOR - Omak (Early Head Start)
Are you someone who enjoys making a difference with young children and their families? Are you flexible and detail oriented? OCCDA is excited to announce their opening in Okanogan County for a Family Child Educator.
About the position:
This is a full-time position based in Omak that travels to the homes of the families throughout Okanogan County to provide early childhood and family support services. These services include visits with the child's parents (primarily in the child's home), and group socialization (playgroup) opportunities in a classroom, community facility, or on field trips. The Family Child Educator will focus on parent-child interactions to promote positive parenting behaviors, provide research-based information around developmental topics, and focus on family well-being to promote healthy family functioning.

Position is full time. Starting salary is $13.92 to $15.45 per hour depending on education.
OCCDA is obligated to provide a drug-free workplace in order to receive state and federal grant funds. Candidates are required to pass a drug test prior to a final offer of employment being given.
